Valve Software today announced that the public launch of Steam for Mac OS X is scheduled for May 12th.Today is The Big Day Valve's Steam platform is officially coming to the Mac, and it's bringing two of my favorite games along with it .The Steam for Mac beta client reveals over three dozen "Mac games," all currently available via Steam on Windows.The offer will be smaller than for the PC, but it’s still good news for Mac OS X.
