After months of behind-the-scenes development, MTV have finally greenlit a ten-part remake of British teen-drama Skins.
The Baltimore-set US version has been developed by Liz Gately (Laguna Beach, The Hills) and will be executive-produced by its British creator, Bryan Elsley, who has also written the new pilot. Like the original, a young team of writers will be hired to give the scripts authenticity and the show will star unknown teenage actors.
